Children and Young People Counselling
Children and young people are often not able to express their concern about issues that worry them. Sometimes experiencing feelings such as anxiety and sadness can cause young people to underachieve in their studies. Talking about what is on their mind can help to build confidence. We provide sessions in a safe place and at regular times to help them to think about their feelings.
Parent and Child Counselling
Specific support for parents and their children who are in crisis, we aim to support with:
  • Parent and parenting concerns
  • Dealing with the adolescent years
  • Dealing with change/transition for children
Individual Support
We all face difficulties at some time in our life, sometimes these problems can begin to overwhelm us and it is difficult to find solutions. This is where individual counselling can help. We offer regular sessions for:
  • Feelings of depression, anxiety; The impact of bereavement/loss
  • Concerns about relationships at home or at work
  • Dealing with uncertainty in regards to the future
Consultancy Service to organisations
We offer a consultancy service to a wide range of organisations such as: schools, social services and other professional and voluntary bodies. We run groups on issues such as:
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Developing skills for life
  • Anger management(resolving conflicts)
  • Training for staff and professionals
  • Parenting support
Parent and Children Activity days
These are usually held during the half term holidays and are specifically for parents and children to come and have quality time together. Expect fun crafting activities, playing games, and occasionally cooking together at our events.
